ST Raphaël. This old fishermens village has been develloped into an attractiv bathing station since the middle of the 19th century. The center with its church of the XI century is surrounded by a market place. Further on the sea side and close the the little habour with its fishermens boats you will find the cathedrale, a Casino, and many elegant shops in front of the beach. St Raphael and its various parts like Boulouris, Valescure, Agay, Théoul and the Trayas are well deserved by TGV fast traint station and the near by motorway entrance. Nice airport can be joined in about 40 min.

GOLFS à Valescure et Agay. St Raphael is particularely well equiped with 3 Golf courses, two 18 H in Valescure and one 9 H in Agay ( this last Golf has beautiful sea view) The Golf of Valescure was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest in France. The undulating round is planted with very old pinetrees. From some parts you will have a breathtaking view on the red Esterel mountains. The wild and untouched Esterel has beautiful walking pathes. From the hill tops you will see the bay of Cannes and its Islands and in winter on very clear days you might even have a chance to notice Corsica.
